The Groove Academy is the work of Scott Pullen – its founder and Music Director, and a DJ with more than twenty years behind the decks in Australia and abroad. One of the few Australian DJs ever listed in the coveted DJ Magazine Top 100, he was voted Best DJ at the Yak Awards and has represented Australia three times at the World DJ Festival in Seoul. He has also played for global clubbing brand Hed Kandi, and personally spun the Sydney 2000 Olympics, the Rugby World Cup and the Melbourne Cup.

Around that DJ core he assembled a revolving collective of Sydney's finest musicians and vocalists – the same instinct for reading a room, scaled up to a live band.
