Biography

In 1988, Chris Cre8tor started his career as a Dj when he entered and won his first Dj Mixing Competition in Sydney.

His friendly and pleasing personality along with his relentless style quickly became news to all promoters and punters. Playing a part of Sydney’s successful and established clubs such as Soho, Riva, Sugareef, Rogues, Tunnel, Metropolis, Illusions, Pump and The Front.
In the nineties Chris ventured into new sounds that took him to the next level, with his unique cutting edge style of music and memorable sets has landed him residencies at venues like Cauldron, Glam, The Orb, White Room, Skygarden, DCM, EP 1, Bar Cleveland, Blackmarket, Decadence and major event parties.

His mixing, scratching and sampling accapellas from the early days are still prominent in his sets. Chris is well respected and a popular house Dj in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Darwin giving him the privilege to work at Australia’s elite venues such as Ivy, Establishment, Slip Inn, Tank Nightclub, CBD Hotel, Home Nightclub (syd), QBH (melb), The Grand (bris), Opium (dar), Q Bar, Cargo Bar, Greenwood, Cruise Bar.

He has certainly made his mark on the decks with a string of long term residencies in Sydney. He has played at the biggest clubs, parties and exclusive events for Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Prince, De La Soul, Grandmaster Flash, Cleo, Vogue, Fashion Week, Aria Awards, Sydney Opera House, Sydney Film Festival, LJ Hooker, Nokia, Channel V, and Dj Expo.

Internationally, Chris has shared the stage with the World’s finest artists such as Black Eyed Peas, MAW, Boy George, Roger Sanchez, Todd Terry, Miguel Migs, Kaskade, Boogie Pimps, Felix Da Housecat, Frankie Knuckles, Dj Tonka, Rogue Traders, Reel 2 Real, Love Tattoo, Sonique, Simply Red, Alison Limerick, Marcia Hines, Jimmy Barnes just to name a few.

It doesn’t stop there, Chris also co-produced two compilation CD’s – Dinky Volume 1 & Volume 3 which features some of he’s own work that he produced and was released in Australia and Worldwide through the company he worked at as a buyer for Central Station Records, Australia’s longest running dance music label. Chris also hosted a number of music radio shows over the years for Sydney’s most popular dance stations 99.3fm, 88.1fm and guest DJ for RAW and KIIS FM Australia’s no:1 radio station.

Chris is regularly booked to perform at corporate events where his board musical knowledge & ability to entertain a diverse audience comes into play.
