C’EST SI BON performs most of the time as a duo, with Alex Compton on vocals, upright bass and hi-hats, and Grahame Conlon on guitar. Despite the small number of musicians at the core of the band, we pride ourselves in creating a full and satisfying sound that never fails to charm our audiences, and also enables us to play quietly enough for a pleasant dinner-music experience, as well as making it possible to swiftly set-up and pack-up when necessary. The style of timeless music we play and the instrumental expertise we bring provides a package that repeatedly gets great results with audiences of all ages. The “younger” generations enjoy the jazz classics re-actualized by artists like Michael Bublé or Harry Connick jr, and the not so young crowd are obviously at home with this sort of material.
At the customer’s request, we have at times performed as a trio or a quartet, working with accordionists, piano and saxophone players, and drummers or percussionists. We feel truly honored and privileged to be entrusted with the critical task of entertaining our client’s family and friends with music at their wedding celebration or party.
